The Journal of Information System and Artificial Intelligence (JISAI) applies an open-access publishing policy. Authors retain the copyright of their published articles and grant JISAI the right of first publication.

All articles published by JISAI are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Under this licence, readers and other users are permitted to:

  • read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to the full text of published articles;
  • reproduce and redistribute the articles in any medium or format;
  • adapt, transform, and build upon the published material; and
  • use the material for academic, educational, research, or commercial purposes.

Such use is permitted provided that users:

  1. give appropriate credit to the original author or authors;
  2. acknowledge the Journal of Information System and Artificial Intelligence as the original publication source;
  3. provide complete bibliographic information and the article DOI;
  4. indicate whether any changes have been made; and
  5. do not imply that the authors or JISAI endorse the modified material or its use.

Author Rights

Authors retain the following rights:

  1. copyright ownership of their published work;
  2. the right to be properly acknowledged and cited as the authors of the article;
  3. the right to reuse parts of the article in future academic publications, books, teaching materials, theses, dissertations, and conference presentations;
  4. the right to distribute the article through personal websites, institutional repositories, academic social networks, and other scholarly platforms;
  5. the right to share the submitted, accepted, or published version of the manuscript; and
  6. the right to enter into additional non-exclusive agreements for distributing the published version of the article.

Any subsequent distribution must acknowledge that the article was first published by the Journal of Information System and Artificial Intelligence and must include the article’s complete citation and DOI.

First Publication Rights

By submitting and publishing an article in JISAI, the authors grant the journal a non-exclusive right to:

  • publish the article for the first time;
  • reproduce and distribute the article in electronic or printed form;
  • register and maintain the article metadata and DOI;
  • distribute the article through indexing services, repositories, databases, and journal aggregators;
  • preserve the article for long-term access; and
  • make necessary editorial and technical adjustments without altering the substance of the article.

The authors do not transfer exclusive copyright ownership to JISAI.
